About me

Born in Hartlepool in 1982, i moved to Billingham in 1984 where i still reside today.

I attended Bewley Nursery, Bewley Juniors then Billingham Campus Secondary School (now demolished)

From there I attended Hartlepool College of Further education studying GNVQ Advanced I.T, this course was a gateway to Teesside University – HND I.T which i completed.

My first “official” job was contracting for the NHS in Middlesbrough at the James Cook site in the I.T department, i was then offered the opportunity to work for Darlington Borough Council on a 1 year contract, this soon turned into a full time employment and where i spent the next 7 years of my IT career moving up roles from ICT Support Officer to ICT Technical Project Lead.

In 2011 i and another colleague decided to go it alone and InnovTech was born, i took the role Operations Director. In this role we went on to implement many solutions for the NHS, and some big clients in the north east, from one client our Support division was born which currently supports over 30 clients in the north and some nationwide.

In 2016 i began the buyout of my share of InnovTech and the hunt for a job back in the private sector.

To be continued…..

Im a keen I.T enthusiast and many years I’m blessed to have been paid for my hobby, I play rugby around the north east and have played for many teams in both codes (rugby union and rugby league).
